Randi Ingerman (November 13, 1967) is an American model and actress who is very popular in Italy.
Early life
Randi Ingerman was born November 13, 1967, in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania.
After studying ballet up to the age of 15, Ingerman tried modeling, however, she didn't find much success as she was rejected for being too short (5' 7.5"). She then relocated to Europe seeking a career in modeling.
While in Europe, Ingerman made her screen debut in Dario Piana's Italian 1988 thriller Sotto il vestito niente II alongside François-Eric Gendron and Florence Guérin. Two years later in 1990, she was seen playing "Lana" in Jack Nicholson's drama The Two Jakes starring Nicholson, Harvey Keitel, Meg Tilly, and Madeleine Stowe.
In 1993, Ingerman landed the starring role of "Rachel Richmond" next to Richard Roundtree, Francesco Quinn, and Margaux Hemingway in James Dodson's action-drama Deadly Rivals. The same year, she played "Lisa Rivers" in Kevin Brodie's thriller Treacherous alongside C. Thomas Howell, Tia Carrere, and Adam Baldwin.
In 1998, Ingerman played the role of "Lena", a roommate of "Jasmine Hampton" (played by Troy Beyer), in Beyer's drama Let's Talk About Sex.
She then appeared in a few Italian TV shows and films such as Tutti gli uomini sono uguali (1998), Le ragioni del cuore (2002), Bastardi (2008), Torno a vivere da solo(2008) and L'isola dei segreti (2009).
In 2004, she posed for the calendar of the Italian magazine Capital.
Ingerman's last screen appearance was in 2013 in Massimiliano D'Epiro's short movie We Will Save the Show.
Personal life
Ingerman was married to the Italian sculptor, painter, architect, and singer Luca Bestetti (screenname L.B.M.) from 2001 to 2004 (separated). Bestetti was her co-star in Let's Talk About Sex (1998).
