Rakhim Karimov

Rakhim Karimov(Kyrgyz: Рахим Каримов;born 1960, Osh, Kyrgyzstan) is an Uzbek-Russian-Kyrgyz-language Soviet poet, writer, publicist, translator, and film screenwriter.

Author of novels, stories, poems and poems. He is one of the brightest figures of Uzbek literature in Kyrgyzstan.

Several years ago he was publicly cursed in one of the mosques for an article about the unseemly acts of the organizers of pilgrimages to Mecca and Medina. At the beginning of 2005, he was fired from the regional department of culture. Subjected to beatings.

In 2022, Karimov's poems translated into English were included in “World Poetry Tree”.
