Prue Lewarne

Prue Lewarne is an international news anchor. 

Career

Lewarne has served as an anchor for CNN International (London, 1997–1999), Deutsche Welle, CNBC Europe (London, 2001–2003), Bloomberg Television, and Sky News Australia.

In 2014-2015, her byline was also seen on Australian publisher sbs.com.au.

In addition, Lewarne has appeared as an anchorwoman in three films: 

• The Manchurian Candidate (2004, starring Jeffrey Wright and Pablo Schreiber)
• Superman Returns (2006, starring Brandon Routh, Kate Bosworth, and Kevin Spacey)
• The Bourne Legacy (2012, Jeremy Renner and Scott Glenn).

In February 2014, she was seen playing the character of a gallery owner in the episode "Chapter 22" of the TV series House of Cards.

Personal life

Australian publisher crikey.com.au in 2005 reported that Lewarne was once engaged to Australian executive producer Peter Manning (of Four Corners and Witness fame). Manning was previously married to Australian journalist Jenny Brockie.
