Political life
In December 2006 she joined Samajwadi Party. Recognizing her abilities Samajwadi Party made her National Secretary of Samajwadi Party Women Wing in 2011 and She was National Secretary of Samajwadi Party Women Wing till June 2016. Now Preeti Chobey is the National Secretary of Samajwadi Party Youth wing (Samajwadi Party Yuvjan Sabha) from June 2016 to Present.
