Prasanth Manghat is the CEO & executive director of NMC Health and a member at Association of Chartered Certified Accountants and a member at Institute of Chartered Accountants of India. In 2012, ICAEW named Manghat the CFO of the Year. He is on the board of directors at NMC Health where he was instrumental in listing the company at the London Stock Exchange, "the first by a non-oil sector UAE company".
Career
Manghat is currently the CEO of NMC Health, a healthcare and distribution company headquartered in Abu Dhabi. Prior to joining NMC, was the Credit and Operations Head at Kotak Mahindra Finance Ltd, a private sector bank in India. In 2012, Manghat was named CFO of the Year by the Institute of Chartered Accountants in England and Wales (ICAEW) and received the Excellence in Finance award from the Institute of Chartered Accountants of India, Abu Dhabi Chapter The next year, ICAI UAE (Dubai) granted Manghat the Professional Excellence Award in the Healthcare Sector.
Manghat was appointed to the Board of NMC Health in June 2014. He served as deputy CEO of NMC Health from January 2015 to March 2017. In November 2016, he received the Deal Maker of the Year Award at The 10th CFO Strategies Forum MENA in Dubai. On March 8, 2017, Manghat was named CEO of NMC Health, replacing outgoing CEO-founder and executive vice-chairman, Dr B. R. Shetty.
