Biography

Plautilla (died 67 AD) was an early Christian saint, a Roman widow who was by some accounts baptized by Saint Peter and saw the martyrdom of Saint Paul.
Plautilla was the daughter of Gaius Fulvius Plautianus, the praetorian perfevt of the Roman emporer Septimius Severus and a woman whose name was not confirmed and they believed her mother’s name was Hortensia.
