Phintias († 279 v. Chr.) war ab 289 v. Chr. Tyrann von Akragas.
Er beherrschte auch das Gebiet von Gela, das er schließlich zerstörte. Die Bewohner siedelte er nahe der Mündung des Himeras an und nannte die Stadt Phintiades (das heutige Licata).
