Biography
Philip Rantzer (* 1956 in Rumänien) ist ein rumänisch-israelischer Bildhauer. Rantzers Familie zog 1960 von Rumänien nach Israel. Von 1979 bis 1981 studierte Rantzer am Art Teachers’ Training College in Ramat haScharon. Er erlangte 1993 den Master am Beit Berl und ist seit 1995 Hochschullehrer im Fachbereich Kunst, dessen Leitung er zwischen 2002 und 2007 übernahm, an der Universität Haifa.
Rantzer fertigt Skulpturen, Assemblagen, Mobiles, Mixed-Media-Objekte und Zeichnungen.
