Biography
Pavol Schmidt (February 9, 1930 – August 14, 2001) was a Slovak rower who competed for Czechoslovakia in the 1960 Summer Olympics.
He was born in Bratislava and died in Magglingen, Switzerland.
In 1960 he won the gold medal with his partner Václav Kozák in the double sculls event.
