Pamela Rosen Lampitt

Pamela Rosen Lampitt is an American Democratic Party politician who has served in the New Jersey General Assembly since January 8, 2008. She currently represents the 6th Legislative District.

Lampitt has served on several committees during her time in the General Assembly. As of 2021, she is a member of the Appropriations Committee and the Women and Children Committee. She is also the Chairwoman of the Committee on Higher Education.

Lampitt has sponsored numerous bills over the years. Some of the notable bills she has sponsored include the "New Jersey Prompt Pay Act," which aimed to ensure prompt payment of obligations to contractors and subcontractors, and the "Civic Information Consortium Act," which aimed to promote local journalism and media innovation.

Lampitt was born and raised in Cherry Hill, New Jersey. She attended the Pennsylvania Academy of the Fine Arts and received a Bachelor of Fine Arts degree. Before entering politics, she worked as a graphic designer and art director.

Lampitt is a Democrat and has been generally aligned with the party's platform. She has been a proponent of stricter gun control measures and has supported efforts to expand access to healthcare. She has also advocated for increased funding for education and environmental protection.
