Paige Young (March 16, 1944—April 7, 1974) was an American model. She was the November 1968 Playmate of the Month.
Paige was born in Los Angeles, California, on March 16, 1944, to Robert Morgan Cotterell (1917–2009) and Donna Virginia Larocca Cotterell (1921–1980).
She was the November 1968 Playmate of the Month and the magazine's centerfold. Her centerfold was photographed by Peter Gowland. She cites Walt Whitman, D. H. Lawrence, Rudyard Kipling, and Voltaire among her favorite authors.
In 1963-1964, Young was married to a lawyer named Mark Frederick Segal. The marriage ended in a divorce.
According to a December 2014 Daily Mail report, Young had at one point briefly dated noted comedian, and sexual offender, Bill Cosby.
Death
Young was found dead on April 7, 1974, at the age of 30, in her West Hollywood apartment. According to Daily Mail, she shot herself in the head with a .38 caliber pistol. It was reported she always felt used and abused by the Hollywood establishment and that by committing suicide, she wanted to send a message to the men who she believed had tormented her for so long.
