Osb Swagah

Abdul Rahim Ismail (born 23 February 2003),professionally known as OSB Swagah, formerly Osb Swagah, is a Ghanaian singer and rapper. He initially gained popularity in 2024 with his song "Victory,".

Osb Swagah is a full-time artist and a songwriter. His  specialities are Trap music, Afro beat, Reggae, Afro pop, High life and Hiplife.

Osb Swagah is a performing artist from Ghana (Kasoa). Born in Tamale in 2003, he has been passionately involved with the music career since 2013. His real name is Abdul Rahim Ismail, He was born on 23rd February, 2003. The name of his parents are, Hajia Saudatu and Alhaji Ibrahim, and he had 4 (four) siblings named, Arafat, Shamsiya, Abdul Rahim and Mubarak.

It was love from the very begining and there was no turning away from the music trance type of vibe. He started writing songs when he was 15 years old , he had no help but kept on writing until the lord’s mercy poured upon him. Currently, Swagah has over 250 written songs. He attended his Primary School at S.D.A.Basic school at Lapaz , Nii Boi Town and Senior High School at St.Paul's Senior High on the Kwahu Mountains (Asakraka), but he currently school’s at the Accra Technical University.

He does not have enough friends in his circle,the only people he mostly confides in are his immediate family. As a humble and calm person, he does not boast of the little he has. Osb Swagah became well known in some parts of Ghana in 2022 with his freestyle trend and kept on trying but all to no avail.

Not until 2023, when he finally had the whole Ghanaians to like what he came up with years back, which then trended through the year, 2024. The song that brought him out and was largely supported by Ghanaians is called ‘Victory' freestyle.

He finally met Mr. John Fiifi Mensah who understood his craft, passion and spirit behind his music career and then introduced him to the C.E.O (Mr. Munaga M. Mohammed) of Blue Clouds Entertainments Music Label, who accepted and signed him to the Label. He is currently a staunch member of the Blue Clouds Entertainments Label and living in comfort as one family.

Abdulrahim's music is a blend of Drill, hip-hop, specifically Trap music as a subgenre of drill music,  few of his lyrics are in an Akan,Hausa,Yoruba and Dagbani dialect, Dagomba, his native tongue.

He has stated his musical influences are Singers P-Square,WizKid, Davido, Burner Boy, Omahlay, Rema and Ghanaian artists Sheriffatu Gunu, Fancy Gadam, Mugeez, Kojo Entwi, Sarkodie, Kwesi Arthur, Don Sigli and Samini.

After his trending freestyle on Dj slims Youtube channel, Obs Swagah signs a artiste management and record label deal with Blue CloudsEntertainments. He releases his first anticipated single" Victory ”, April 5, 2024

Osb Swagah's early inspirations were Sarkodie, Stonebwoy, Kwasi Arthur, Kojo Antwi, and Medikal. He started being noted for his ability to write and use metaphoric, sometimes animated witty like punch lines in his music. His music has the Trap Music, Afro beat and Hip hop story telling elements with powerful catchy hooks. His style, good looks and flow has him compared to legends dead and alive.

Abdulrahim Ismail is a Muslim. There is little information known about his personal life.
