Career
Oncle Gilbert's musical roots began at his family home age 4. The family piano was too high, so he spent hours playing by ear and raising his hands above his head. This is when he learned to play by ear. He bought his first synthesizer / keyboard aged 14 from a student in Cardiff who was selling all his possessions to move to Papua New Guinea
Oncle began playing with a band in high school with a band called Panama. Then when studying Physics and Computing Joint Honours at Cardiff University, was discovered by Richard Griffiths The Afternoons after playing in a musical review, where he wrote songs about physics staff including W. G. Herrenden-Harker.
