North Morgan

Constantinos Porter North Morgan (born 6 January 1980) is a British Greek novelist, writer, and blogger based in Los Angeles. He is best known for his fictional blog London Preppy, in addition to his book Highlights of My Last Regret. Morgan's style of writing is satirical and focuses on the lives of young people in urban settings. He writes exclusively in first person narrative. In 2012, his debut novel, Exit Through The Wound, was nominated for a Polari First Book Prize.

In 1980, Morgan was born in Athens, Greece, where he later moved to England in 1998. In England, Morgan graduated from Sheffield University in 2001 with a degree in Business Studies. In 2002, he received a post-graduate degree in Marketing from Manchester University.

Morgan created the blog London Preppy in 2007 as a way of connecting with friends after coming out. As the blog grew, however, he stopped utilizing personal work and therefore created the fictional character known as London Preppy.

In 2010, he was approached to contribute a short story to the anthology Boys & Girls, compiled and edited by Paul Burston. His first novel, Exit Through The Wound, was published in 2011 by Limehouse Books. The story is presented as a first-person account from Maine Hudson's point of view, who is a 24-year-old Londoner. It also focuses on his personal, professional and family relationships. Burston, writing for TimeOut, called it "a seriously impressive debut." The novel was shortlisted for the Polari First Book Prize in 2012, which led to the newspaper The Independent calling him a "bitterly funny satirist.".

Morgan's second novel, Highlights of My Last Regret, was published in 2014. The Independent called it "cold, snobbish, cruel...hilarious", and praised its "glitteringly alluring" prose.
