Biography
Norris W. Cochran served as Acting United States Secretary of Health and Human Services from January to February 2017.
On November 29, 2016, it was announced that Tom Price would be nominated for United States Secretary of Health and Human Services (HHS) by President Donald Trump.
Cochran first worked for the federal government in 1996 when he joined the Centers for Disease Control. Between 2001 and 2006 he worked for the Health Division of the Office of Management and Budget. On February 5, 2006, he joined the Department of Health and Human Services.
