Noah Diffenbaugh

Noah S. Diffenbaugh is an American geoscientist and Professor of Earth System Science at Stanford University, where he is also a Kimmelman Family Senior Fellow. He is also the faculty moderator for Stanford's undergraduate-oriented Three Books Program.He is also a senior fellow at the Stanford Woods Institute for the Environment, an affiliate at the Precourt Institute for Energy, and the editor-in-chief of Geophysical Research Letters. He is known for his research on the climate system, especially the effects of global warming on drought in California.
