Nirmal Kaur

Nirmal (Saini) Milkha Singh or Nirmal Kaur was the Indian Women's Volleyball Team Captain.

She was born October 10, 1938 in Shekhpura, Punjab (now part of Pakistan). She was Director of Sports for Women in the State Department. She graduated from Punjab University with a master's degree in Political Science in 1958.

Nirmal Saini later married the "Flying Sikh" Milkha Singh. She is also the mother of world-renowned golf player Jeev Milkha Singh and lives in Chandigarh.
