Biography

Nikolaos "Nikos" Sofis (Greek: Νικόλαος "Νίκος" Σοφής; born on 10 May 1992 in Munich, Germany), is a Greek lyricist and sports manager, from Larissa, Greece, better known for his bids in the Eurovision Song Contest. He is currently studying Sports Management at Deree College in Athens, Greece. Besides his studies, he also works as a lyricist ever since 2011. He is also engaged in football management, currently serving as Vice-President for AE Vounaina. He returned to that position in 2016. Two months after returning to Vounaina, he was announced as a new inclusion into the managerial board of Superleague club AE Larissa.

Football Management

AE Vounaina

For the 2014-15 B' EPSL season, Sofis was appointed as second Vice-President, due to his Sports Management studies. As AE Vounaina got relegated in the previous season, the aim of the team and the new governing body, was to return the team back to A1 EPSL. The team quickly managed to deliver results, assuring Vounaina's victory B' EPSL at the end of the season, returning to A1 EPSL as planned. Sofis resigned from his position before the end of the season. For the 2016-17 A1 EPSL season, Sofis was announced to have returned to the board of AE Vounaina.

AE Larissa

On September 9, Greek Superleague team AE Larissa proposed the inclusion of Sofis into the administrative board to its stakeholders. As of 24 September 2016, Sofis has been elected and announced as 3rd Vice President.
