Nikolay Kralin

His specialty is composing chess studies. About his professional life Kralin is an electrical engineer by profession. For years, however, he has been working at the Russian State Public Scientific and Technical Library in Moscow. About his chess studies career: Kralin became famous for his studies. Occasionally he also composed chess pieces. He has been publishing since 1961. In 1983 he was awarded the title of Sports Master of the USSR. In 2005 he became a grand master for chess composition. Kralin participated in numerous national and international championships. So he was 1983-1984 master of Moscow in the endgame study department. At the first World Cup, he received the silver medal in the same department (endgame section). In his endgame studies, Kralin strives for a full-fledged fight on both sides and with pointed play.
