Nicole Phungrasamee Fein (born Nicole Lynne Phungrasamee; February 19, 1974) is an American artist. She lives and works in San Francisco, California. Her work is included in the collections of the Whitney Museum of American Art, the Harvard Art Museums and the San Francisco Museum of Modern Art.
Early life and education
Nicole Phungrasamee Fein was born in Evanston, Illinois. After graduating from Cate School, she earned her Bachelor of Arts from Tufts University and her Bachelor of Fine Arts from the School of the Museum of Fine Arts, Boston. Fein received her Master of Fine Arts degree from Mills College. Additionally, Fein earned her Foreign Student Certificate from the China National Academy of Fine Arts.
Work
Fein has exhibited extensively throughout the U.S. She is currently represented by Hosfelt Gallery in San Francisco, CA, Devin Borden Gallery in Houston, TX, Danese Corey in New York, NY, Gallery Joe in Philadelphia, PA, and Anthony Slayter-Ralph Fine Art in Santa Barbara, CA. Her work is included the permanent collections of the following institutions:
