Biography
Nicolas Camara Vales (1875, Mérida, Yucatán, Mexico — 1956, Mexico City, Mexico) was a Mexican pediatrician and politician. He served twice as Governor of Yucatán, first from 1911-1912 as interim Governor after the resignation of his brother-in-law, José María Pino Suárez. He served a second term as Constitutional Governor from 1912 to 1913. He was forced to resign by dictator Victoriano Huerta during the assassination of President Francisco I. Madero and Vice President José María Pino Suárez on 22 February 1913.
