Biography

Naila Musaeva (Azerbaijani: Nailə Fuad qızı Musayeva) – Professor of the Department of Information Technologies and Systems at the Azerbaijan University of Architecture and Construction, Doctor of Engineering, Professor, Head of Laboratory at the Institute of Control Systems of ANAS.

Life

Musaeva Naila Fuad was born on 7 September 1957 in the city of Baku. She was admitted to the Faculty of Automation of Production Processes of the Azerbaijan Oil and Chemistry Institute, specialty “Applied Mathematics” in 1974 and graduated in 1979. From 1979 to 1983, she worked in “Azerelektroterm” production association as a programmer engineer.

In 1983, she entered the postgraduate course at the Azerbaijan Civil Engineering Institute, specialty 05.13.07 “Automation of technological processes and productions”. In 1990, she defended her thesis on “Algorithms and packages of application programs for the correction of estimates of statistical characteristics and mathematical models of the statics of technological processes and their implementation in the automated process control systems”.

By the decision of the Higher Attestation Commission of the Azerbaijan Republic in 1994, Musaeva N.F. was awarded the academic title of senior researcher in "Control in technical systems". In 1997, by the decision of the Higher Attestation Commission of the Republic of Azerbaijan she was awarded the academic title of Associate Professor in the Department of Computer Engineering and Automation of Production Processes at the Azerbaijan Civil Engineering Institute.

In March 2002, Musaeva N.F. defended her doctoral thesis on “Algorithms and software tools for improving estimates of statistical characteristics, conditionality of correlation matrices and adequacy of identification”. By the decision of the Higher Attestation Commission of the Republic of Azerbaijan in 2003, she was awarded the academic degree of Doctor of Engineering. In 2007, by the decision of the Higher Attestation Commission of the Republic of Azerbaijan Dr. Musaeva was awarded the academic title of {rofessor at the Department of Information Technologies and Systems of the Azerbaijan University of Architecture and Construction.

Since 1986, Musaeva N.F. has been working at the Department of Information Technologies and Systems of the Azerbaijan University of Architecture and Construction as a system programming engineer, assistant, senior lecturer, associate professor. Since 2004. she has been a professor of this department delivering lectures on such courses as “System Analysis and Modeling”, “Information Technologies for Experimental Data Processing”, “Basics of Automation of Computational Experiments”, “Analysis of Stochastic Processes”.

Since 1991, Musaeva N.F. has also been a part-time employee of the Institute of Control Systems of the Azerbaijan National Academy of Sciences as a senior researcher, and since 2002, she has been Head of the laboratory “Identification of stochastic processes”. Musaeva N.F. Is a member of the Scientific Council of the Institute of Control Systems and a member of the Dissertation Council D 01.121 for the defense of dissertations for the degree of Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) and Doctor of Science in the following specialties: 1203.1 – “Computer Science” in Mathematics, Engineering; 3337.01 – “Information measurement systems and control systems” in Engineering; 3338.01 – “System analysis, control and information processing” in Mathematics, Engineering.

  2. the robust technology of the correlation analysis of interference of a noisy signal;
  3. the robust technology of improving correlation matrix stipulation with the availability of errors in their elements;
  4. the robust technology of providing the adequacy of identification of technological processes;
  5. a technology for the solution of problems of confluent analysis of noisy technological processes is developed based on the technologies used in calculation of the variance of interference, the degree of robustness of estimators of the auto- and cross-correlation functions, robust correlation matrices, and balance algorithms for the relative errors of their elements;
  6. noise technology of indication and identification of the latent period of transition of an object from a normal condition to an emergency one.
