Biography

Mustafa Ghouse (born 19 August 1980) is a former Indian tennis player, between 1996 and 2008 representing India on the Davis Cup team. Mustafa is also an Asian Games bronze medallist at the 2002 Asian Games in Seoul, South Korea with doubles partner Vishal Uppal.
He is currently the CEO of JSW Sport, and COO of Bengaluru FC, I-League Champions in 2013. As the CEO of JSW Sport, Ghouse oversees the Sports Excellence Program that mentors 40 athletes across Olympic sporting events.

Ghouse currently is based out of Mumbai, Maharashtra.

Tennis career

Ghouse was part of the Indian tennis circuit for his participation in the Davis Cup for India in both singles and doubles.

He won an Asian Games bronze medal at the 2002 Asian Games in Seoul, South Korea with Vishal Uppal as his doubles partner. They reached the semi-finals in the bottom half of the draw but lost to eventual silver medallists, Chung Hee-seok and Lee Hyung-taik of South Korea, who were beaten by Leander Paes and Mahesh Bhupathi.

Business career

As the CEO, Ghouse heads the JSW SEP Programme started in 2012, aimed at nurturing and developing Indian Olympic athletes by providing them access to international standard training facilities in their respective sports.

Ghouse is also the COO of Bengaluru FC post their entry in the I-League in 2013.

Ghouse is also listed in the '40 Under 40' list created by Forbes India in 2015.
