Mukesh Bhakar (Born 20 November 1988) is an Indian politician who is serving as the President of the Rajasthan Youth Congress, he represents also in Rajasthan Legislative Assembly from Ladnun of Nagaur districtAs member of the Congress party . Bhakar was previously State President of National Students' Union of India Rajasthan, the student wing of Indian National Congress from 2013 to 2015.
Early life
Mukesh Bhakar hails from a common farmer family, Bhakar belongs to the Jat community. He is son of Retd. Subedar Surjaram Bhakar. Bhakar completed hisgraduation and post graduation in Sociology from University of Rajasthan. He was influenced by the ideology of Bhagat Singh at a very young age and was actively engaged in social political work even as a student. Along with being a politician, it is also a ideal and motivational speaker for youth.
Political life
He elected State President of National Students' Union of India Rajasthan in 2013.During his tenure NSUI made come back in University of Rajasthan after 12 years in the Largest University of Rajasthan. After completion of his term National president nominated him National Secretary. Congress Party gave him an opportunity to contest Rajasthan State assembly elections 2018, where he successfully managed a win by margin of 12947 votes against 3 times MLA Thakur Manohar Singh.. He won election for State President, Rajasthan Youth Congress over nearest candidate Amardin by 9872 votes. According to political expert, He is considered to be next big thing in the politics of Rajasthan in coming time, Which is clearly visible in his personality.
