Muhammad Hamza Shafqaat is a civil service officer of Pakistan Administrative Service (PAS) previously known as the District Management Group (DM. He belongs to the general management cadre of the Pakistan’s civil service and worked as manager at district Administration and provincial Government. He is a responsible officer for policy-making and executing at the highest echelons of the Federal bureaucracy.

Hamza Shafqat worked as deputy secretary establishment division from 2016 to 2017 . In September 2017 he is posted as Director Administration. Prior to his posting as Deputy Commissioner Islamabad he worked as Joint Secretary Establishment Division. ADC in ICT, Director General Land Estate, Capital Development Authority.
