Biography

Mostyn Field is a male former rower who competed for Great Britain and England.

Rowing career

Field represented Great Britain in three World Championships. He represented England and won a bronze medal in the coxless four, at the 1986 Commonwealth Games in Edinburgh, Scotland.

Field won the Match de Seniors a European Under 23 championship in the eight in 1980 and represented Great Britain in the eight at the 1975 World Junior Rowing Championships.

Field rowed for Emanuel School, University of London and University of London Tyrian Club, winning 3 times at Henley Royal Regatta (Stewards, Silver Goblets and Thames cups) and 11 gold medals at the National Championships.After his own rowing career Field has alsocoached 3 Henley winning crews at University of London (UL), and 4 UL crews selected for Great Britain at the Under 23 championships (winning one gold and one bronze)
