Mollie Fitzgerald

Mollie Fitzgerald (born 1981) is an American film actress and producer known for The Lawful Truth and The Creeps. Recently, in December 2019, she was accused of fatally stabbing her mother at her Kansas home.

Mollie Fitzgerald was born Mollie Maxine Fitzgerald in 1981 to Patricia "Tee" Fitzgerald and Terry Fitzgerald.

In the years 1999-2000, she attended Fordham University in the Bronx, New York, and was on the women's basketball team. In 2003, she joined Trinity University, San Antonio, Texas and graduated with a Bachelor of Arts degree in Drama & Communication.

In the years 2005-2008, she studied law at University of Houston Law Center and earned a Doctor of Law (J.D.)

Fitzgerald started off as a lawyer in 2002, practicing in Texas while attending the University of Houston until 2008.

She then moved to Los Angeles to pursue a career in show business. In 2011, she wrote, and acted in, a comedy film, Absurd Illusions. The file was directed by Tilda Del Toro and Ludwig Manukian. Fitzgerald played the role of "Beth" alongside Justin Braun and Brian Hernandez. The same year, she appeared as "Stark Girl" in Joe Johnston-directed hit film, Captain America: The First Avenger.

In 2012, she formed her own production company, "Overland Pacific," under which she made her debut as a producer with the thriller, The Lawful Truth, in 2014. The film was written, directed, and produced by Fitzgerald and had Joe Johnston, Carrie Lazar, and Dayna Schaaf in lead roles. The film was a commercial success, scoring 7.7/10 on IMDB.

In the fall of 2016, Fitzgerald began working as a real-estate agent for Sotheby's in Los Angeles. She continues to work there, while making films in parallel. In 2017, under Overland Pacific, she released her second production, a short horror film, The Creeps, starring Jush Allen, Jessica Bishop, Paulette Mihale, and Christina Shipp. The film scored 8.0/10 on IMDB. 

Most recently, she produced a short comedy, Phantasma and a drama, King of Wishful Thinking. Both are in post-production phase with the release date yet to be announced. In addition, she is filming a documentary title, Fireball.

Fitzgerald was married to her husband, Corey Jackson. Jackson filed for divorce in May 2019. The case is pending.

Murder of her mother

Fitzgerald was arrested on 31 December 2019 on the charge of fatally stabbing her mother inside a suburban Kansas City home. She was charged with second-degree murder and jailed in Johnson County Jail on $500,000 bond. According to The Kansas City Star, her mother, Patricia "Tee" Fitzgerald, was found dead in her Olathe home on 20 December 2019. The police said everyone involved in the incident had been identified, though the case remained under investigation.

Accusation of surveillance on Twitter

According to her bio on IMDB, Fitzgerald made multiple tweets to the Army Chief Staff, requesting them to remove the surveillance technology she believed was implanted in her by the FBI, the NSA and Lockheed Martin during a trip to the dentist. The tweets and their author, presumably from the twitter account OonaMollyBerlin, have not been verified.
