Biography
Dato' Haji Mohd Rashid bin Hasnon (born 2 January 1960) is the current Deputy Chief Minister 1 of Penang, Malaysia. He was sworn in to the position on 9 May 2013 to succeed Dr. Mansor Othman. Rashid is also a Penang State Executive Council Member (MMK) who holds the portfolio of Industrial Development & International Trade, Entrepreneurial Development, Corporative and Community Relation. He is also the deputy-chairman of Perbadanan Bekalan Air Pulau Pinang (PBAPP) board of directors.
