Biography
Brigadier General Mohamed Samir Abdel Aziz Ghonim (Arabic: العميد محمد سمير عبد العزيز غنيم; known as Mohamed Samir) is the spokesperson of the Egyptian Armed Forces.
Samir finished his studies at Egypt's military academy in 1988before he served in the Egyptian army's infantry corps, where he held various positions, including battalion commander. He then assumed a position with the military college's teaching facility, in addition to serving as a military attaché in UAE.
