Biography

김민웅은 대한민국의 사회운동가, 목사, 교수이다.

생애

1956년 일본 오사카에서 재일 한국인 부부의 장남으로 태어나 1961년 동생 김민화 및 부모님과 함께 귀국했다. 고국에서 동생 김민석을 얻었다. 한국외국어대학교 학석사 졸업 후 델라웨어 대학교로 유학갔으나 목사가 되기 위해 진로를 변경해 중퇴하였다. 동생 김민화는 사고로 사망했다.

뉴욕 유니언 신학교에서 여성 신학자 베벌리 윌덩 해리슨의 지도로 박사 학위를 받았다.
