Biography
Mick McGrath (born 5 January 1991) is an Irish rugby union player for Leicester Tigers. He was educated at Catholic University School (CUS) in Dublin's inner city, a school not known for its rugby but rather its cricketing pedigree, having produced English cricketer Eoin Morgan. His preferred position is on the wing. After a short stint with Plymouth Albion R.F.C. he secured a place in a wider Leinster Rugby training squad whilst playing club rugby with Clontarf, eventually securing a full contract. He made his senior debut in September 2014 against Scarlets. He was called up to the Leinster senior squad for the season commencing 2014–15 following impressive performances in the AIL. After being released from Leinster he has spent some time involved with the Ireland national rugby sevens team. Currently he is now part of the Leicester Tigers wider training squad for the 2016 season.
