Merve Akıl (born July 3, 1996) is a Turkish women's football forward currently playing in the First League for Gazikentspor with jersey number 9.
She was born and raised in Bamberg, Bavaria, Germany.
Career
Merve Akıl played in her hometown club TSG 05 Bamberg until the end of 2012–13 season before she moved to Turkey.
She obtained her license in Turkey for Gazikentspor in Gaziantep on September 13, 2013. After one season in the Turkish Second League, she began to play in the First League with promotion of her club in the 2014–15 season.
