PÉTERFI Márton (pro. pe:terfi) estis hungara botanikisto, instruisto naskita en Borosjenő la 1-an de februaro 1875 kaj mortinta en Koloĵvaro la 30-an de januaro 1922. Li estis la patro de botanikisto István Péterfi.

Márton Péterfi akiris bazlernejan instruistan diplomon en Déva,kaj li instruis de 1895 en Déva, de 1906 en Kolozsvár. De 1910 li estis helpkonservisto de la Plantarejo de Erdélyi Múzeum Egyesület, de 1919 konservisto de la vegetalsistematiko de la Universitato de Koloĵvaro. Li esploris unuavice la muskflaŭron de Transilvanio.
