Biography
Martina Trevisan ([marˈtiːna treviˈzan]; born 3 November 1993) is an Italian tennis player. She is the younger sister of Matteo Trevisan who is a professional tennis player on the ATP World Tour.
Trevisan has a career-high WTA singles ranking of world No. 144, achieved on 21 August 2017, and a career-high doubles ranking of No. 288, achieved on 22 May 2017. She has won nine singles and two doubles titles on the ITF Circuit.
On the ITF Junior Circuit, Trevisan has a career-high ranking of No. 57, achieved on 12 October 2009. In that year, she reached the semifinals of both, the French Open girls' doubles and the Wimbledon girls' doubles championships.
Trevisan has represented Italy in the Fed Cup, where she has a win/loss record of 3–2.
In 2020, Martina reached her Grand Slam debut at the 2020 Australian Open, overcoming former Wimbledon finalist Eugenie Bouchard to reach the main draw, before falling to eventual champion Sofia Kenin, in straight sets.
