Biography
Mark McDonald is an Australian software and app developer. He is the Co-CEO and co-founder of Appster, global software and app development firm in Australia. He was named in the Top 50 Entrepreneurs under 40 in 2013 and his company is less than 4 years old and it has grown into something across the world and 3 continents with over 300 staff members currently.
Education
Mark complete a Bachelor of Science/Arts which was started while he was still completing year 12 through select entry enhancement programs. He had a particular interest in biology, immunology, molecular biology and international politics. He attended Monash University in 2011.
Career
Since the age of 15, Mark has had a background in building a tech business. With his friend Josiah Humphrey, he sold SEO software to companies in the US during his early career.
At the age of 18, Mark and Josiah decided to invest in renting an office in the Rialto Towers that they couldn’t afford to start the genesis of Appster.
Mark is listed on the Top 40 Australian Male Entrepreneurs Under 40 and has 300 staff.
