Biography
Mark Richard Acres (born November 15, 1962) is a retired American professional basketball player who spent most of his career in the National Basketball Association (NBA). He was a 6'11", 220 lb (100 kg) power forward/center.
Acres attended Oral Roberts University, where he played for his father Dick, and was drafted in the second round of the 1985 NBA draft by the Dallas Mavericks. He was a part of the Orlando Magic's first year expansion team.
Mark Acres is currently a junior high P.E. teacher at J. H. Hull Middle School in Torrance California.
