Biography
Marianne Proctor is an American politician who is serving as a member in the Kentucky House of Representatives, representing District 60. She was elected on November 8, 2022, and assumed office on January 1, 2023.
Early life and education
Proctor was born on February 24, 1968, in Flint, Michigan. She earned a Bachelor's degree from Texas A&M University in 1990, and a Master's degree in Communication disorders from the University of Texas at Dallas in 1993.
Political career
Proctor defeated incumbent representative Sal Santoro in the Republican primary by 3.4 points on May 17, 2022. She won the election on November 8, 2022, unopposed.
