Margaret Teele (born Margaret J. Poby, 5 November 1942 in Joliet, Illinois) and raised in Green Bay, Wisconsin is an American television and motion picture actress who appeared in Gomer Pyle, The Andy Griffith Show, Batman, The Rounders, The Accidental Family and Captain Nice and other television shows as well as films such as "The Silencers", "Way Way Out", "Hook, Line & Sinker", "The Unkissed Bride" (also known as "Mother Goose a Go-Go") and "The Human Duplicators".
Margaret Teele grew up in Green Bay, Wisconsin, attended Saint Patrick's Catholic Grade School and Saint Joseph's Academy High School. Margaret began acting in local high school productions. In one of the productions, "The King and I", Teele played Tony Shalhoub's mother. Teele resigned from acting to raise a family. She is the mother of singer Jenna Drey.
