Biography
Manoj Muntashir (born 27 February 1976) is an Indian lyricist and TV writer. He wrote the lyrics to Galliyan song from the film Ek Villain.
He wrote the lyrics of song "Tere Sang Yaara" from the film Rustom. He wrote the lyrics of much acclaimed song "Kaun Tujhe" from the film M.S Dhoni: The Untold Story..He also wrote the lyrics of the song "Phir Bhi Tumko Chaahunga",which was immensely liked by people. He started his career as a lyricist with the movie The Great Indian Butterfly. He had won awards including IIFA, Star Guild Awards and Indian Telly Awards.
Career
He has written lyrics for Bollywood films and TV shows. He also wrote lyrics for the song "Galliyan" from Ek Villain with music by Ankit Tiwari. In 2015, he wrote all dialogues and lyrics for the songs for the Hindi version of the film Baahubali: The Beginning which rank among one of highest grossing Indian films. He also wrote lyrics for Himesh Reshammiya's album Aap Se Mausiiquii.
Personal life
Muntashir was born in Amethi, Uttar Pradesh. He is married to Neelam Muntashir and they have one child.
