Majed M. Al Tahan is a Saudi Arabia-based award-winning entrepreneur and e-commerce leader.
Career
In 2017, Al Tahan co-founded and launched Danube Online which was a first mover in the e-commerce grocery industry in Saudi Arabia. The Danube App and Danube Online website was launched in a partnership with the BinDawood Group.
Al Tahan founded AYM Commerce in 2016. The company was a platform on which he intended to base the technology he needed for his Middle Eastern e-commerce revolution.
A year after the launch, Danube Online and the Danube App had a significant effect on grocery retail in Saudi Arabia. The e-commerce platform won ‘Retail Technology of the Year' award at the Seamless Awards, 2017. At the same awards, AYM Commerce was also named the ‘Start Up of the Year’. This made Al Tahan notable as a candidate for the 'Digital Leader of the Year Award’.
Personal life
Al Tahan is married and has two children.
