Biography
Madeleina Kay is a British musician, author and activist from Sheffield, England.
Activism
Madeleina is passionately in favour of the European Union and a vocal anti-Brexit campaigner. In 2016, Kay said: "I have been absolutely horrified by the morphing political landscape and developments towards Brexit.". She is taking part in a documentary called 'Postcards from the 48%', which comes out in 2018 .
Publications
Kay has published two books, one of which is called 'Theresa Maybe in Brexitland', the other 'Go back to where you came from'.
Music
Madeleina combines her activism with her love of music, by writing protest songs, which she publishes on her Alba White Wolf YouTube account and Alba White Wolf Facebook Page. Some of her videos have sparked controversy, leaving a long trail of abusive and disturbing comments and even blog articles by critics.
She has released two songs on iTunes. The Brexit Hokey Cokey (December 2016) and the Strong And Stable My Arse Song (May 2017) in protest against Theresa May's government before the 2017 General Election.
Activism
Madeleina takes a very creative approach to activism and has featured in multiple newspaper articles reporting on Brexit. She often appears with her trusty companion, her white German Shepherd Dog, Alba White Wolf.
