Lorenzo Guerini

Lorenzo Guerini (born 21 November 1966) is an Italian politician, member of the Democratic Party. On 9 December 2013 he was nominated by the new Secretary Matteo Renzi, spokesperson of the party and on 28 March 2014, Vice-Secretary along with Debora Serracchiani.

Guerini joined Christian Democracy in 1980s and then he became a member of the Italian People's Party in 1994.

In 1995 he was elected President of the Province of Lodi and after ten years, in 2005 he became the mayor of Lodi with 54.1% of votes.

After 2013 general election Guerini was elected in the Chamber of Deputies. On 9 December 2013 he was nominated spokesman of the Democratic Party and few months later Vice-Secretary of the party.
