Biography

Lorenzo Acquarone (born 25 February 1931 in Ventimiglia) is an Italian lawyer and politician.
Acquarone graduated in law and became a lawyer and university lecturer. As a member of the Italian People's Party, he was elected to the Chamber of Deputies for three legislatures. In 2002 he participated in the formation of the new political entity called the "Margherita" or Democracy is Freedom - The Daisy, but in September 2003 decided to leave the party to join the Popular-UDEUR.
On 27 December 2007 Acquarone was awarded the Knight Grand Cross Order of Merit of the Italian Republic - uniform ribbon.
