Biography
Liu Ruofan (simplified Chinese: 刘若钒; traditional Chinese: 劉若釩; pinyin: Liú Ruòfán; born 28 January 1999) is a Chinese footballer who currently plays for Shanghai Shenhua in the Chinese Super League.
Club career
Liu Ruofan joined Shanghai Shenhua's youth academy from Genbao Football Base in 2015. He received training with Inter Milan youth academy in April 2016 and Villarreal CF U-18 team in September 2016.
Liu was promoted to Shanghai Shenhua's first team squad in 2017 by Gus Poyet. On 5 May 2017, he made his senior debut in a 3–2 away loss against Guangzhou Evergrande as the benefit of the new rule of the league that at least one Under-23 player must be in the starting line-up and was substituted off by Wang Shouting in the 17th minute.
