Biography
Lisa Breckenridge (born May 27, 1965) is an American television personality and news anchor who was best known for working at KTTV Fox 11 News based in Los Angeles. She was the entertainment and lifestyle correspondent for FOX 11 Morning News from 5 am to 7 am, FOX 11 News at 10 A.M. and FOX 11 News at Noon, and filled in for regular presenters when needed. She occasionally co-presented Good Day L.A.. She also had her own segment called "Lisa's L.A.". Breckenridge announced on January 23, 2017, that she was moving on from Fox 11, after 17 years with the station. According the Breckenridge, Fox 11 is restructuring and their plans don't include her.
Education and early career
Breckenridge graduated from Pacific Union College in the Napa Valley in 1987 and Stanford University's Mass Media Institute of Broadcast Journalism. She joined Fox 11 in 1999 as a freelance reporter, and became a staff reporter in 2000. Previously, she worked at KYMA in Yuma, Arizona, then at KOLO-TV in Reno, Nevada and at KCRA in Sacramento, California before settling at KTTV.
Personal
Breckenridge, originally from Lodi, California, went to Lodi Academy, graduating in the class of 1983. She has been married to Andy Cohen since August 17, 2003. Together, they have a son, Benjamin, and a daughter, Elsie, twins born in March 2005. Breckenridge is known for her trademark blonde bob haircut. Lisa has three sisters, Mitzi (Lodi, CA), Stephanie Dickinson (Redlands, CA) and Tiffany (Orange County, CA).
She is known as 'Star' to her nephew (Brett Dickinson) and niece (Taylor Dickinson).
