Liam Andersson, also known by his alter-ego "Oscar," is a talented Syrian singer-songwriter and producer currently based in Sweden. Born on September 29th, 1998, in Aleppo, Syria, Liam has always had a passion for music. He began pursuing his dream at the young age of 15 when he wrote his first song, although it was never officially published.
In 2019, Andersson moved to Sweden, where he established a home studio and began covering songs on his YouTube channel. He released his first single in August 2020, titled "Ma Hda Mn Baadek (ft. Ahmad)," which featured his friend Ahmad. The song blended Arabic rap with English R&B, showcasing Andersson's unique style.
In March 2021, Andersson released his second single, "Mystery Girl," which he wrote and produced himself. The song was well-received by fans and critics, and it further established Andersson as a rising talent in the music industry which led to Andersson's first live performance in August 2021, where he performed "Mystery Girl" at the Hx-Festivalen in Helsingborg Arena, Sweden, opening for Tingsek and Helsingborgs symfoniorkester.
In June 2022, Andersson introduced his alter-ego, "Oscar," and released his third single, "Drama Queens," under the rap genre. The song showcased a different side of Andersson's musical abilities and marked Liam's first venture into the rap genre, demonstrating his versatility as an artist.
Liam's fourth single, "Looking For An Angel," was released in September 2022. The emotional ballad showcased Liam's vocal range and songwriting skills, further solidifying him as a rising star in the music industry.
