Biography

Lamine Diarra (born 20 December 1983) is a Senegalese professional footballer who plays as a striker for Turkish club Antalyaspor. He was capped once for the national team of Senegal.
Nicknamed "Black Mamba" and "Mamba Di", due to his speed and clinical finishing, Diarra is the second-highest goalscorer in the history of Serbia's SuperLiga.

Club career

Partizan

On 4 July 2007, Diarra signed a three-year contract with Partizan and was given the number 26 shirt. He made his competitive debut for Partizan in a UEFA Cup qualifier against his former club Zrinjski Mostar, on 19 July 2007, netting a hat-trick in a 6–1 away victory. In the Serbian Cup semi-final, on 16 April 2008, Diarra scored two goals against Crvena Zvezda in a 3–2 away win. He also scored a hat-trick in the 2008 Serbian Cup final, a 3–0 win over Zemun. In total, Diarra made 31 league appearances for Partizan, scoring 12 goals, during the 2007–08 season. He was also the club's top scorer in all competitions and signed a two-year extension to his contract.

Diarra scored his first goal of the 2008–09 season against Inter Baku in a 2–0 win at home ground, in the second leg of the second qualifying round for the UEFA Champions League. On 5 October 2008, Diarra scored a goal against cross-town rivals Crvena zvezda in a 2–0 away win. He continued his good form by scoring an equaliser against Sampdoria in the UEFA Cup group stage, on 24 October 2008, however Partizan would go on to lose the game 2–1. He made his 50th league appearance on 7 March 2009, in a match against Javor, scoring the winning goal for Partizan. Diarra has been the top goalscorer of the 2008–09 SuperLiga season with 19 goals. He was also one of eight Partizan players named in the 2008–09 Serbian SuperLiga Team of the Year.

Diarra made his 100th competitive match for Partizan in a game against Napredak on 1 November 2009, which Partizan won 3–1. On 16 December 2009, he scored the winning goal against Shakhtar Donetsk in the UEFA Europa League group stage. He scored a hat-trick against Mladi Radnik in the final matchday of the 2009–10 SuperLiga season, on 16 May 2010. During his third season at Partizan, Diarra made 43 appearances and scored 21 goals in all competitions.

Loan to Al Shabab

On 27 June 2010, it was announced that Diarra would be joining Al Shabab Al Arabi Club, on a season-long loan. He scored his first competitive goal for Al Shabab on 3 September 2010, in the second round of the 2010–11 UAE Pro-League, against Dubai Club. On 27 October 2010, in a league game against Al Wahda, Diarra suffered a fracture in his lower left leg, after which he spent the rest of the season in the process of recovering.

Return to Partizan

After returning from a loan spell, Diarra made his first appearance back for Partizan in a 5–0 home win over Novi Pazar on 13 August 2011. Antalyaspor

In the 2012 summer transfer window, after his contract with Partizan expired, Diarra signed a two-year contract with Turkish club Antalyaspor. He immediately established himself as the club's leading striker, scoring 13 league goals in his debut Süper Lig season, missing only one out of 34 matches. In the 2013–14 season, Diarra appeared in all 34 league fixtures and scored 10 goals, as the club suffered relegation to the TFF First League. He helped them win promotion back to the top flight after only one season, being the club's top scorer with 16 goals (regular season and playoffs).

Loan to Göztepe

On 1 February 2016, Diarra was loaned to Göztepe until the end of the 2015–16 season.

International career
