Biography
Koos Roets (1943-) is 'n bekroonde Suid-Afrikaanse rolprentregisseur en kinematograaf.
Roets begin sy loopbaan in die rolprentbedryf in 1962 as 'n assistent kameraman vir Jamie Uys. Later begin hy om self die regie van rolprente te behartig en werk in beide Suid-Afrika en Australië. Hy het verskeie toekennings ontvang of is daarvoor benoem, insluitende: 4 Artes-toekennings, 2 Rapport-Oscars, 3 ATKV-toekennings, 4 Star Tonight-toekennings asook die Stephen Farrell Lifetime Achievement Award vir uitmuntende kinematografie.
