Koby began his interest in portrait and fashion photography at a very young age. In 1997 he and his family immigrated to his current home of Toronto, Canada; This is when photography developed from a hobby and became a career. He completed Humber College Photographic Arts program, and began his career as a commercial beauty and fashion photographer. Since then he has based his studio on the founding principles of quality, cutting edge ingenuity, integrity, and philanthropy.

Koby has made the effort to educate and mentor new and budding photographers, guest speaking at colleges and universities worldwide, and accepting local students into his co-op placement program. He has declared this to be of utmost importance in an age where everyone has the capacity to take and share photos using smart technology, maintaining the education and personal development that goes into the creation of a true photographic professional.

When the opportunity arises Koby frequently contributes to charitable causes and programs seeking to use photography to give back to the community. Notable charitable campaign collaborations include MAC Cosmetics Fashion Cares, The 2009 and 2014 Cashmere White Collection.
