Kiley Neushul

Kiley Neushul (born March 5, 1993) is an American water polo player, currently attending Stanford University while studying communications. A two-time Peter J. Cutino Award Winner and three-time NCAA National Champion, Neushul was part of the American team winning the gold medal at the 2015 World Aquatics Championships, where she played in the driver position. Neushul racked up nine goals in helping Team USA to gold at the 2014 FINA World Cup in Khanty-Mansiysk, Russia; Led the team in scoring with 12 goals on the way to gold at the 2014 FINA World League Super Final in Kunshan, China. Recorded a goal during the 2013 FINA World Cup Qualifiers; Tallied 5 goals during the 2013 Holiday Cup; Scored seven goals in the 2013 FINA World Championships; and Scored seven goals in helping Team USA to bronze at the 2013 FINA World League Super Final; and served as the alternate at the 2010 FINA World Cup in Christchurch, New Zealand. As a member of Team USA's Junior National team Neushul won a bronze medal at the FINA Junior World Championships Khanty-Mansiysk, Russia (2009); competed at the FINA Junior World Championships Trieste, Italy (2011), finishing in eighth place; and captained the gold medal team at the FINA Junior World Championships Volos, Greece (2012) where she scored three goals in the championship game.

Neushul was born and raised in Isla Vista, California where she played water polo from 1999 to 2011 under the guidance of her mother, Cathy Neushul. Santa Barbara Water Polo Club (now 805 Santa Barbara Water Polo Club) was among the nation's most successful during Neushul's club tenure. Neushul's club coaches also include Connor Levoff, Brian Roth, Lance Schroeder, and Mark Walsh. Neushul helped lead Santa Barbara to multiple National Junior Olympic and National Club Championship titles. In her four years at Dos Pueblos High School, Kiley helped lead the team to four consecutive CIF Southern Section Titles, Division II in 2008 and Division I from 2009-2011. Kiley was also named 'CIF Southern Section Player of the Year' four times during her high school career. Neushul's High School coaches include Dannelle Little and Chris Parrish. Dos Pueblos' went 67-0 during Neushul's tenure, at CIF Division I record.

Kiley Neushul was born in Goleta, California. Her mother, Cathy Neushul, played club water polo at U.C. Santa Barbara and for the U.S. National Team. Neushul coached club water polo at UCSB and later served as Head Coach of UCSB's NCAA Division I collegiate team. Peter Neushul was a two-time All-American at UCSB. Kiley has two younger sisters, Jamie and Ryann. Jamie Neushul, also a driver, plays at Stanford University.
